I am part of the Salt Lake Hardcore Scene. I have been listening to Downset for about three years now. I have seen them twice, and at the first show, Rey let me sing lead vocals to Anger. I just want to say that not all of us in the Salt Lake scene are assholes, and that Downset is respected by many. By the way, they are playing 2-22-97 here with Earth Crisis, and Damnation a.d. i went to the downset, earth crisis show at the rkcndy in seattle a few days ago. i felt stupid there because of all the staight edgers. i thought the first three bands sucked. downset made up for it by playing a kickass set. i was one of the lucky ones that saw them with the deftones and im glad i saw them again although the other bands suckdick.

Downset is bad as shit but I've heard this "Earth Crisis" band (never heard of them) sucks. Either way I'll see them both at the Cap Ballroom (much more Metro friendly than the 9:30 club, even if it does suck)

Yo. I was going through pages, and yours kicks just about the most ass. Have you seen them live? I will most likely (if my friends come through) see them March 28 at irving plaza. In any rate, they kick as much ass as KoRn, Rage Against The Machine and the Deftones. If you add anymore things to your page, tell me if you can.
