I have seen downset perform twice in MA and it has been way too long since they've been back. I am so thankful that they are back together and finally working on the third album. A whole lot a people have been asking about Downset. These people would rather see Downset than many other bands such as, even, Deftones, Slipknot, Hed(pe), Coal Chamber + Limp Bizkit. Downset have been greatly missed. Now I can pass word on that they are almost done. So I say thanks because nobody at any of the recent shows in the NY area have been able to tell me a thing. Hi guys! Downset 4ever. I can´t wait for their 3rd album. The first time I heard them was 1995 with Sullen & Shootyz Groove in Munich/Germany. In 1996 they gave 2 concerts in 2 mounths. There are only a few bands that really rule for that long period and still rule every single day. So be nice to each other.

Last Friday I was on downset concert in Brooklyn. It was awesome. According to Rey they are looking for a label to release their next album (quit going to Mercury web page for more news about the band) and now approximate date of new release is january-february. Can't wait!

Check out trade page of "at the bottom" downset page. One guy is saying that he has "new downset album, all 14 tracks". If James said that they had recorded a lot of new stuff but did not release it, this guy is eather some sound engineer for the band who wants to make some money (almost impossible) or is just full of shit. The message was posted on Sept,17 at the day of the show in B'klyn where Rey said they had had no new album yet. If anybody from the band hears me please answer on this page.
